Barnett   Clutches


'Series K' Kevlar Friction Plates
Barnett's Series K Kevlar friction plates have been a proven performer since we introduced them in 1991. The Kevlar performs flawlessly under severe conditions and deliver smooth precise shifting. The Kevlar friction material is bonded to 6061-T6 alloy CNC machined cores or tempered steel cores depending on the application. The Series K plates are compatible with stock steel drive plates, springs, and all oils.

Steel Drive Plates
Barnett tempered steel drive plates are made out of steel that is rolled to a precise thickness and flatness. After these plates are stamped, they go through a tumble burnishing and vibratory de-burring process to ensure a quality finish.


 

Coil Clutch Springs

Barnett manufactures a complete line of pressure rated coil springs.
(Please note, we ONLY sell Springs with a complete Plate kit )

Clutch Spring Conversion Kits
Barnett spring conversion kits are designed to convert the stock diaphragm spring assembly to a coil spring assembly. The conversion kit will give your bike a more positive, controllable clutch engagement over the stock set up.
These kits include a billet aluminum pressure plate and coil springs.. And Nothing Else.
They do Not include Friction or Steel Plates.

Available for the 1998 & up Harley Davidson Big Twins, Late 1984-89 Harley Davidson Big Twins, Yamaha FJ1100/1200, 98-03YZF1000 R1, V-Max, XVZ13 Venture Royal Star, and 1600 Road Star.

Fits all FJ1100/1200 SR-1
Fits all V-Max, XVZ 13, Road Star. SR-2
Fits all YZF1000R1 98-03 only SR-3
Fits ‘98 & later Big Twin Models SR-4
Fits L84- 1989 Big Twin* SR-5

*(For use with replacement steel hub only, HD #37550-84A or comparable.)
