CP911Star RACE PADS

CP911Star: updated for the 2000 racing season to even higher performance levels! Under the direction of the Ferodo Italy - Automotive Racing Cell, this latest generation high carbon Hyper-Met formula is easily identified with the addition of a star “*” suffix stenciled on the backplate. The all new CP911Star offers more initial bite than the previous `99 version with higher peak friction levels, yet still maintaining that fine degree of control and superb modulation at the lever for incredible braking performance! Performing brilliantly on both stainless and iron rotors, bed-in remains quick and uncomplicated. This hi-tech material is kind to rotors, operating at significantly cooler temperatures than sintered metal pads under race conditions. Also, CP911Star is yet a superb street pad for demanding Sportbike riders looking for a truly high performance compound that’s easy to live with.

RACING NOTE: Rotors should be bead blasted on the brake swept area when switching from sintered metal pads.

NISSIN SIX PISTON CALIPERS:
The Nissin 6 pot caliper is the definitive high performance six piston units from Japan. Precision casting produces a beautifully sleek yet powerful caliper which is O.E. on the impressive new MV Augusta 750F4. The billet model is the turbo version used on the incredible Yamaha YZF-R7 World Superbike (contact us for special order info on those jewels). The brilliant performing FERODO CP911 pads come standard with most models. Recommended mastercylinder size is 5/8" for dual disc applications.

TWO MOUNTING VERSIONS:
•The 90mm mounting boss centers is an easy upgrade over the heavier 6 pot Tokico calipers. Plus it's a simple no-hassle fitment on many late model Kawasaki's including the '98 on ZX6R, ZX9R, ZRX1100 and the new ZX12R.
SUZUKI fitment includes the '88 on GSX-R750's, '89 on GSX-R1100's, the '97 on GSX-R600's, the '97 on TL1000's and the new Hayabusa.
•The 40mm mounting centers fit most Ducati's, Moto-Guzzi's and others. Fitment on motorcycles with mounting centers other than those listed here require caliper brackets.
NEW! Kawasaki ZZR1100/ZX1100 D model six pot conversion kit turns this mediocre braking Sport-Tourer into late braking wonder! Fits all '93 through 2000 models (and ZX9R '94-96).

NOTE: Calipers, brakes & clutch m/cylinders use 10mm x 1.25 banjo bolts.
