Bazzaz Performance was started in 2003 out of a clear need for expertise in the
area of engine management and electronics for the top tier of professional
motorcycle racing.
After working as a race engineer at Yoshimura R&D for six years and helping Mat
Mladin bring home his first 3 AMA Superbike
championships, Ammar Bazzaz decided to start Bazzaz Performance in an
effort to fill this need in the racing market, ultimately with the goal of
bringing this same technology and knowledge to the average racer and motorcycle
enthusiast.
Entering the high profile AMA Superbike scene in 1997, at the same time as
Electronic Fuel Injection, Bazzaz TC has been instrumental in its implementation,
tuning, and application for the better part of 10 years.
From humble beginnings in the garage of his home, Ammar Bazzaz quickly expanded
the company‚ exclusive engineering and design capabilities into the design and
manufacturing of engine management electronics for the motorcycle racing
industry. Completing its second expansion in the last three years, Bazzaz
Performance TC now operates out of an 8,500 sq. ft facility in Chino, CA housing
both R&D as well as manufacturing operations. Bazzaz Performance TC has been
designing and tuning high performance engine management products for the top
tier of motorcycle racing since its inception.
Bazzaz Performance TC has now committed to bring this high tech world of exclusive
electronics down to the performance rider level. The new Z-Fi line of products
from Bazzaz Performance TC offers innovative, state of the art engine management
technology that is easy to use with an affordable price. Bazzaz Performance
TC is
upping the ante on what a rider should expect out of his/her aftermarket engine
management electronics. Never before has technology at this level been offered
to the general public.
In addition to designing and bringing race proven technology to the mainstream

Bazzaz Performance Z-Fi
The Bazzaz Performance Z-Fi Fuel Control Unit differs significantly from what is
currently available in the marketplace in a number of ways.
It is a plug and play unit that piggy-backs onto the stock ECU. Each unit comes
with an application specific harness that utilizes OEM connectors for simple
installation, and comes pre-programmed for either the stock exhaust or a
slip-on.

Bazzaz QS-4 (Stand Alone Quick Shifter Unit)
The Bazzaz Performance QS4 USB (Stand Alone Quick Shift) is an updated version of
the popular Bazzaz QS-4 Quick Shift. Customer feedback on the QS-4 led
to the development of a new shift sensor for improved reliability, which
now also includes an application specific adapter rod for easy
installation.
The Bazzaz Performance QS4 USB unit employs race proven technology for seamless clutchless
up shifting. It has user adjustable gear dependent kill times allowing
for optimal shifting in all gears. The kit comes complete with control
unit, harnessing, shift switch and adapter rod. The software allows the
user to set a signal to indicate to the rider precise shift points using

Bazzaz Performance Z-Fi TC Option
The Bazzaz Performance Z-Fi TC
(Traction Control Unit) has all of the same features as the Z-Fi QS with the
addition of user adjustable traction control.
The Bazzaz Performance Z-Fi TC brings traction control technology from the
highest levels of professional racing down to the average racer. The Z-Fi TC
does not require any additional sensors to be mounted to the bike, and is fully
legal for AMA Super Sport and Super Stock competition.
Countless hours of racetrack testing and tuning were used to distill the
complicated nature of this technology into a simple and intuitive tuning
interface using the Z-Fi software. Traction control is easily adjusted by
Throttle Position, RPM, and Gear to suit any track or riding condition.
Adjustments on the fly can be made with an optional TC adjust switch, making
tuning even more simple.

Traction Control LED Light
This light is optional and not needed with
the traction control unit, however, it will tell you when the traction
control is working. A nice thing to have and see for feedback. This product is only for use with Z-Fi TC systems produced after February of 2010. To verify that your control unit is compatible, simply connect to the Z-Fi TC controller via the Bazzaz software and view the “Diagnostic Tab”. On compatible controllers the serial number for the product will be listed at the bottom of the screen. Bazzaz Performance Z-AFM Air Fuel Mapping
Kit Option
The optional Bazzaz Z-AFM kit
consists of an air fuel sensor and amplifier box that plugs into the any of the
Z-Fi products, and allows for self-mapping of the motorcycle. Self-mapping means
that as the user rides the bike, on the track or on a dynamometer, the Z-Fi
automatically calculates the required fuel adjustment at each RPM and Throttle
Position to reach the user selectable target air fuel ratio.
The Bazzaz Performance Z-Fi Mapper
software allows for the user to easily enter the target air fuel ratio, start,
stop, and review the results of the self-mapping function. Once the recommended
adjustments have been reviewed, the user can either apply all of the suggested
adjustments or just a certain range with a few simple clicks of the mouse.
The Bazzaz Performance Z-AFM kit offers
an alternative way for mapping without the time or cost of a custom dyno tune.
For the rider looking for maximum performance, a dyno tune together with the Z-AFM
is the way to go. The kit comes with all of the required hardware, but may
require modification of the exhaust pipe to accept the air fuel sensor fitting.
Many manufacturers, like Yoshimura, make versions of their existing pipes with
the sensor fitting already built in.
