HERE IS A LIST OF WHAT WE DID TO OUR '04-'05 CBR1000RR's
Well, It's April 4th, 2004 and we All Just picked up our
(5) CBR1000RR's this weekend. Stay Tuned for the Modifications to begin. Anything
New, Anything Cool, and Anything that makes the bike Better, WE WILL DO IT. And we
will let you know how it goes. What works, and What Doesn't. Every
possible bits of info. we can provide, we will.
Check back often!! There's going to be a LOT going on with these
bikes.
1) Dyno Jet PCIIIusb
First parts Installed PCIIIusb. This was a
Must. It's a little more difficult to install, since this bike is soo compact.
But, after about 20-30 mins. we got it. Mounts nice and
easy under the back seat. No need to velcro is in there.
This way when you want to plug in the USB Cable or the 9v PA to re-map
or Adjust the settings, you can just pull it out
from under the seat for easy access. The PCIIIusb Allows you to remap
the Fuel Injection as well as turn on Fuel pump
accelerator, to get rid of the Abrupt On/Off Throttle hickup.

2) HYPER WHITE XENON BULBS
Now that Honda went back to only 2 Bulbs, instead of the (3) that we are used to... extra
Wattage and Illumination on the Road is a Must Have. Not only are these Bulbs
brighter than stock, they have a Bluish/White Hue, similar to the New BMW & Mercedes
Lights. This makes for more definition on the road surface at night. They also
look very cool.

3) Vortex Rear Sets
All the guys at Our shop have Road Raced or do Currenty Road
Race. So, we all Must have Reverse Shifting (GP Shift).
Once you have Tried Reverse Shifting, you will never want to go
back to standard Again.
Well, the Great guys at Vortex have an Awesome Rear Set Kit that does
BOTH Standard and Reverse Shift.
This Kit is Fully Adjustable and Multi Piece Design.
Meaning, if you brake something, you don't have to buy a
whole new Kit. Notice the Very Trick Cam on the Linkage Allowing the
rider to swap between Std. and Revere Shift.

4) Dyno Jet Quick Shifter
Allows the Rider to shift the Bike At FULL Throttle and NO Clutch,
without damage to the Transmission.
At the exact time the Rider Starts to shift the Bike, the Quick shifter
detects the movement, and cuts the Fuel,
For a Split Second allow the Transmission to unload as the rider completes
the shift.
A MUST for Racers or Hard Core Street Riders, who want to shave every second
off their times.
Works great for Stunt Riders as well, who don't want to worry about the clutch on
the upshifts.
Plugs directly into the PCIIIusb Aux. port. Includes CD to set kill
time, and Min RPM's. preset by the Rider.
Requires (2) Dyno Jet Shifter Rods to complete the install. IN STOCK
Very Easy to install. Takes approx. 5 min. .

5) Galfer Stainless Steel Brake Lines
These are a no brainer. The Stock brakes are great. But, with SS
Lines installed they are off the chart.
When you squeeze your brake lever a large part of the force goes into the Rubber
lines, and expands them.
This takes away the Total pressure applied to you Caliper Pistons. Thus, you
lose stopping Power.
With Stainless Steel Braided Lines, nearly ALL the force goes into the Calipers.
Giving you the most stopping power. Put it this way. It can mean the
difference between running into the back of the car that just pulled out in front of
you OR Stopping 10 Feet
Short.

6) Fender Eliminator
Kit
We couldn't stand all that ugly plastic hanging down from
that Beautiful Tail Section. So, it had to go.
In place is this very Trick Fender Eliminator Kit. Yea, it's a little
pricey. But, very well worth the money, when you see
The end result. 2 Kits available One for use with Stock Exhaust. And
the other to use with "Aftermaket" Exhaust.
7) MICRON SERPENTS
The Stock HP is more than enough for some riders. But, Not for
us. So, we had to change the Exhaust.
Micron Serpents were outstanding on our CBR929/954's. They Lost NO HP
Anywhere, and had
HugeGains Everywhere. So, we are figuring on similar gains with our
CBR1000RR's.
Interesting to Note: Honda has Designed
their Exhaust Ports on the CBR1000RR in the same
Configuration as the Serpent Headers, Using the Oval style Shape. What makes the Serpents
so
awesome is the Hydra Forming Process. Take a look
at the close-ups. Micron is able to make
tappered headers, out of ONE Piece.. Not having to piece many different diameter
pipes together and weld
them up. Notice No Welds on the Headpipes. Welds, add weight and Greatly
reduce flow... causing loss of of power. Plus, with the Hydra Forming they can
make just about any shape and design header They want, to get the Most HP
Possible.
Great news. The Micron Serpents Come with a Bungle already on the system. So,
if you purchase a Wide Band
Commander, you don't need To weld anything. You just simply Screw in the Wide Band
02 Sensor right into the exhaust. Very Sweet.
Stock Honda CBR1000RR Exhaust System - 23.8 Lbs
Micron Serpents w/ Ti Canister - 12.5 lbs
That's OVER 11 lbs Weight savings, just by installing the Micron Serpents.
Horse Power Numbers are what we hoped for. Stock
149.5 Serpents - 163.7 Over 14 hp GAINS.
This Bike Only had 300 Miles on when Dyno'd. As the Motor Breaks in, we are
hoping for another 4 - 5 hp.

8) OHLINS SHOCK
Our CBR1000RR Ohlins Order
just showed up.
Once you have ridden a bike with an Ohlins Shock you will never want to ride
with a Stock Shock Again.
It's hard to explain how much better an Ohlins is over Stock. Not until
you actually try it will you understand.
But, one customer explained it best. You get the Ride of a Cadillac, and the
Handling of a Porsche. All in the Same

9) DYNO JET - WIDE BAND COMMANDER -
Dyno's Work Great to get a Good Base Map in your Power
Commander. But, they don't take into effect RAM AIR. Plus, they are very
expensive. These Days, they can be as much as $300 - $400. For about the same
price, you can Purchase a Wide Band Commander, and do it yourself.
So, you know it's done right. And go back and make changes if neccessary.
Since we want to get the Absolute Most HP out of our Bikes, we are going to install
the Wide Band Commander which Will allow us to get the perfect map for our Bikes. These
are very trick
A/F monitors that use a Bosche Wide Band O2 Sensor to measure REAL Time, accurate
A/F measurements On the Road. It's stores the information, so when you get back
to Your house, you can download the information to your computer and adjust your
PCIIIusb map accordingly. Best of all the Serpents for the
CBR1000RR already have a Bungle welded on the System for the Wideband Sensor. So,
you don't have to do anything, except screw it in. No Welding required. Very
Sweet.

13) WAVE ROTORS -
While the Stock rotors are already super lite, these Wave Rotors save another 1/2lb per
Front Rotor. In the Rear They knock off Nearly a full pound. Because of the
wave design they also disapate heat better then the stock rotors causing less Brake Fade.

An “Add-On”
Power Commander Ignition Module
for Power Commander USB’s,

The Dynojet Ignition Module is an “add on” accessory for
select Power Commander III USB. It allows you to control and adjust the
ignition timing of your motorcycles’ engine. The Ignition Module comes standard
with no adjustments made in the map for the timing table. Due to different
states of tune, fuel quality, and engine modifications we found it is best
to leave the ignition timing stock for safety reasons. |

The
floating rotors were developed specifically to provide owners of
Japanese Sportbikes (HONDA, YAMAHA, SUZUKI, KAWASAKI) with the
maximum performance levels on the street and on the track. The
new rotors are available in three diameters and are of greater
thickness than standard rotors. The braking surface features a
series of drilled holes to maximize performance and control when
braking while simultaneously reducing rotating mass with
consequent advantages in terms of machine handling. The braking
surface is connected to the carrier, which is machined from
solid aluminum and is the product of a comprehensive FEM
calculation procedure. The connection is achieved by means of
ten floating- type aluminum buttons, reflecting a strictly race
style engineering project. The kit contains the two rotors, and
a set of Brembo decals.
